50 DAYS. ONE QUESTION.

Who makes your team, school or community stronger?

Giveaway runs from September 21, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. ET to November 10, 2026 at 8:00 p.m. ET.

HOW TO ENTER

Entering is simple:

1. FOLLOW

Follow STH on the social-media platform where you are entering.

2. SELF-NOMINATE OR NOMINATE

Comment on our official Giveaway post and self-nominate or nominate someone who makes their team, school or community stronger.
It could be a:

  • student
  • educator or principal
  • coach
  • volunteer
  • parent or caregiver
  • mentor
  • community member

3. TELL US WHY

Identify your or their school, team, organization or community and, in 50 words or less, tell us how this nominee makes a positive impact.

Where the nominee is under 18, please use their first name and last initial, initials, school, community or role rather than their full name. If identifying their school would unnecessarily identify or locate a minor, a more general school or community description is fine.

WHAT DO THEY BRING?

There are many ways to make a community stronger.

STH’s Recognition Streams celebrate different forms of contribution and may help you think about the person you want to recognize.

Someone who helps others feel welcomed, included and connected.

Someone who strengthens others through collaboration, encouragement and shared success.

Someone who preserves or shares family, cultural or community stories that help others understand one another.

Someone who gives back through service, volunteerism, generosity and a commitment to others.

Someone who builds respect, understanding and meaningful relationships across cultures, backgrounds and perspectives.

Someone who helps create an environment where everyone has a meaningful opportunity to participate.

Someone who demonstrates thoughtful engagement with Indigenous histories, cultures and perspectives and supports learning and respectful dialogue.

Someone who encourages healthy relationships, positive well-being and balanced lifestyles.

Someone who encourages meaningful face-to-face connection, creativity, outdoor activity and healthy technology habits.

Someone who demonstrates curiosity, initiative and a willingness to explore new ideas, careers, education and lifelong learning.

Your nominee does not have to fit neatly into one of these categories.

The most important question is simply:

Who helped make your community stronger?
